• ANCTWIGC WORD refers to the biblical, Christ-centred message, teaching, proclamation, instruction and spiritual foundation through which we communicate the purposes of God and carry out our ministry assignment.

• Our Word is not intended to be a replacement for the Holy Bible.

• The Holy Bible remains the supreme written foundation for our faith, doctrine, teaching, conduct and ministry.

• ANCTWIGC Word is therefore our ministry expression of biblical truth for:

  • Teaching.

  • Preaching.

  • Evangelism.

  • Discipleship.

  • Spiritual formation.

  • Leadership development.

  • Missions.

  • Prayer.

  • Christian living.

  • Kingdom service.

  • Nation-reaching.

1. JEHOVAH YAHWEH — THE BEGINNING OF OUR WORD

• ANCTWIGC Word begins with Jehovah Yahweh.

• God is the ultimate source of divine truth.

• We acknowledge Him as:

  • Creator.

  • Almighty God.

  • Everlasting God.

  • Sovereign Lord.

  • Source of life.

  • Source of purpose.

  • Source of wisdom.

  • Source of our calling.

• Our Word therefore begins with God rather than humanity.

• We seek to speak about God with reverence.

• We seek to teach people to know God.

• We seek to lead people into relationship with Him.

• We seek to make His glory the ultimate objective of ministry.

2. THE HOLY BIBLE — OUR WRITTEN WORD FOUNDATION

• The Holy Bible is the foundation upon which ANCTWIGC Word is built.

• We use Scripture for:

  • Doctrine.

  • Teaching.

  • Correction.

  • Instruction.

  • Reproof.

  • Spiritual growth.

  • Christian conduct.

  • Leadership formation.

  • Discipleship.

• We encourage believers to:

  • Read Scripture.

  • Study Scripture.

  • Understand Scripture.

  • Believe Scripture.

  • Obey Scripture.

  • Live Scripture.

  • Teach Scripture.

  • Share Scripture.

3. JESUS CHRIST — THE CENTRE OF ANCTWIGC WORD

• Jesus Christ is central to our proclamation.

• We proclaim Christ as:

  • Lord.

  • Saviour.

  • Redeemer.

  • Messiah.

  • Son of God.

  • The Way.

  • The Truth.

  • The Life.

• Our teaching should ultimately point people toward Christ.

• Our evangelism should proclaim Christ.

• Our discipleship should form people into Christlikeness.

• Our leadership should follow Christ's example of servant leadership.

• Our ministry should exalt Christ rather than human personalities.

4. THE HOLY GHOST AND THE WORD

• ANCTWIGC recognizes the ministry of the Holy Ghost in understanding, proclaiming and applying God's Word.

• We seek:

  • Spiritual illumination.

  • Wisdom.

  • Discernment.

  • Conviction.

  • Empowerment.

  • Guidance.

• The Holy Ghost does not replace Scripture.

• Rather, our ministry seeks to remain grounded in Scripture while depending upon the Holy Ghost for spiritual guidance and empowerment.

5. THE WORD AND SALVATION

• ANCTWIGC Word proclaims the Gospel of salvation.

• We call people to:

  • Hear the Gospel.

  • Believe in Jesus Christ.

  • Repent.

  • Receive salvation.

  • Follow Christ.

  • Grow in faith.

• We proclaim that salvation is centred in Christ.

• The Word therefore moves people from:

  • Sin to repentance.

  • Darkness to light.

  • Alienation to reconciliation.

  • Bondage to freedom.

  • Death to life.
